2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic
rmloan, I bought a 2006 2000 classic LT back in Fenuary, and like you I also had a good amount of time between bikse, wife, kid, will do that.
Getting back into, I did set some standards for buying. Lised below in no particular order
1. First time in my life I could say, price is no issue, If it costed 25k, I would buy it. Price would not stop me from buying it.
2. Had to be the biggest bike the manufacture made, I am a guy
3. The bike had to feel like a cruiser, had to shake some
4. Big,Big,Big
5. I would keep it stock if I want and be content
6. Look **** good
7. Good dealer that would treat me right
8. Wife approval of course
I looked at them all, Yamaha, Suzuki, Hodna, HD. It came down to the Road King, Yamaha Stratliner, and V2k.
The Statoliner was a close second, but a liitle to refined, wen it was running, nothing shook. I still got some old school in my
The 1st V2K I ever seen now sits in my garage and I couldn't be happier. Awasome power, outragios. Comfortable, and when riding, even low speeds, it doesn't fell like 800lbs. It does when you back it up, but hey, I wanted big.
I am a big guy, 275lb, 6", bike don't care, put my wife on it all 125lb of her, don't even know shes there. Everytime I ride it I don't want to get off.
I have been reading post here for 3 months now, and everyone else pretty much says the same.
My bike is everything I wanted, and themsome. I think it looks pretty good, even stock.
What ever you decide, buy it for you, whatever will make you happy
